Lg Optimus Pad is a 8.9-inch tablet that boasts the new Android 3.0 operating principles and an spectacular, display. The built is great and it feels nothing else but Light at 630 grams. The display is acceptable Tft sporting a decent 1280 x 768 pixel resolution. I believe that 8.9-inch screen is an ideal screen size for a tablet as I was able to hold it vertically and type with my thumbs just fine. This is something you cannot do on an Ipad. However, I was a bit disappointed to see Lg not outfitting this tablet with a 3D display. Advent to the ports, it comes with an Hdmi 1.4 port that allows you to connect the Optimus Pad to an Hdtv or an external display with Hdmi port.

Flip the tablet over and you will find a pair of camera lenses which can shoot videos in 3D. In my testing, the device did not allow me to shoot videos in Hd and I was forced to shoot in Sd. Fortunately, 2D videos can be captured at 720p. Performance-wise, the tablet executed every particular task like a charm. After all, Lg has qualified it with a dual core Tegra 2 processor, 32Gb solid state storage, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and 3G Radio. Android 3.0 includes strong retain for the tablets and thus I was impressed by the uncut experience.

However, I would like to add that I was disappointed to see that Lg Optimus Pad offered only half of 3D features. Also, the fact that you will need a 3D capable Tv to view those videos limits it to a rather small market.
